What Should Be The pH Value in Drinking Water?
Water is an essential part of human life. Man needs water to survive. Generally when asked, about the basic needs in human life, people answer food clothes shelter etc. But what about water? Its more than essential. It not only helps you with keeping your body hydrated, but also with your everyday life., like bathing, brushing, washing clothes and all other things related to cleaning.
Now put all that apart. Here we are going to discuss about the pH level of water which we consume everyday in our life. pH level is an indicator to identify whether the water is hard or soft. The pH level of water is 7. it is a constant. When it is more than 7 the water is basic and if it is lower than 7 then the water is acidic. Acidic water contains elevated levels of toxic metals such as iron, manganese, copper, lead and zinc. These toxins are not good for our health if consumed in excess. As we all know water is something we use only all the time. Hard water, Water with pH level greater than 8.5 can cause health issues as well as aesthetic issues. Issues such as the formation of scale deposits in dishes, utensils and laundry basins which make them look awful, making the soaps and detergents to lather a painstaking process and then that dirty taste of bitter when we drink water.
At the end of the day we all consume water without even checking whether the pH level of water is right or not. I mean who cares? We would not even be thinking of it. And it is not a thing to be worried too much about because our human body maintains pH equilibrium on a constant basis. It makes it difficult for water consumption to be dangerous to our health. So drink a lots and lots of water. Keep yourself hydrated without any concern of the pH level of water.
